The 12 Days of miXmas – #4 Bliss Drone Ambient Chill Mix
Every weekday I shall be counting down to Christmas (as I already explained HERE).
The 8th post in this series sees us getting about as ambient as is humanly possible.. The intention for this mix was to record a collection of tunes that are so slight, one could happily drift off to sleep listening to this, whilst blocking out the sounds of the outside world – a musical white noise generator if you will.
Originally recorded for the Headphone Commute blog,my intention was to create a soundtrack FOR an early morning commute, so the first 45mins of this are extremely amorphous & relaxed.. After that, it picks up a bit with some old skool hip-hop & soul sampling beats, before gently unwinding again.
