The Onion Movie – review

Hawk the Slayer - Genius, crap-tastic 80s fantasy action adventure. a fond favourite from my childhood which has Not Aged Well. 6/10 1 day ago

Interceptor - russian sci fi - some pretty visual moments, but god only knows what the bloody hell was going on in it. confusing/boring 3/10 4 days ago
Slammin Salmon - Broken Lizard team with predictably scatological obscene hilarity. Michael Clarke Duncan in particular is hilarious. 7/10 5 days ago
Girl With The Dragon Tattoo-taut & twisty dark thriller.Uncomfortable at many points.Perhaps hard to get into for non-readers of the book 7 1 week ago
AstroBoy - pretty, if overly cutesy japanimation cg. Stellar voice cast phoning it in for the $$$. Ultimately too kiddy-tastic for me. 5/10 1 week ago
Men Who Stare At Goats - light comedy, some of the finest actors working today, all twatting it up as hippie Jedi soldiers. good fun. 6/10 1 week ago

The Descent: part 2 - not so much a sequel as a sub-par remake. just watch the original twice & you'll be less bored or underwhelmed. 4/10 1 week ago
